1)   Needle thoracotomy possible in the second intercostal space in the midclavicular line

2)   The left pad of the model accepts real needle to perform pneumothorax puncture. A “pop” is felt as the needle enters the thoracic cavity and a “hiss” of air releasing can be heard

3)   The right pad of the model accepts surgical incision, blunt dissection and closed drainage tube placement
