The model is a full-size adult female lower torso with standard lithotomy position, which can assist users to demonstrate and practice multiple gynecologic procedures as well as placement of IUD, laparoscopic examination and diaphragm placement.

Skills Gained

       · Recognition of normal and abnormal cervices, as well as normal and pregnant uteri

· Measurement and examination can be conducted:

1)    External pelvic measurement                                       

2)    Bi-manual examination

3)    Rectal-vaginal examination (including insertion of speculum and colposcopy)

4)    Analysis and recognition of cervical lesions

5)    Placement and removal of IUD

6)    Diaphragm placement (birth control)

7)    Practice use of laparoscope
